Brief introduction of the Mozzies’ 2026-2028 strategy meeting
Following the election of the new Board members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19 May 2026, the Mongolia Australia Society (Mozzies) held a Strategic Planning Workshop on 3 July 2026.
The workshop brought together the newly elected Board members to reflect on the Society's achievements and challenges, assess its current position, and define its future ambitions and desired impact by 2028.
Discussions focused on identifying key strategic initiatives, aligning priorities, defining strategic pillars, establishing shared team values, and agreeing on concrete actions and commitments to guide the Society's work in the coming years.
Our North Star 2028
The Board outlined four key ambitions to guide the Society's development towards 2028:
A Growing and Engaged Membership Community
Grow our membership network, strengthen member engagement, and foster a strong sense of belonging across Mongolia and Australia.
An Active Knowledge-Sharing Community
Encourage members to share their knowledge, skills, and experiences through practical learning opportunities and professional exchange.
A Digital Platform for Opportunities
Strengthen our web-based platform to connect members with career opportunities, professional networks, and collaborations through improved information sharing and data-driven engagement.
Stronger Mongolia–Australia Partnerships
Build and maintain meaningful partnerships with alumni, businesses, and organizations in Mongolia and Australia to support collaboration and shared initiatives.
Four Strategic Pillars
To turn this vision into action, the Board identified four strategic pillars: Membership, Opportunities, Knowledge, and Partnership.
Dedicated committees will lead key activities under each pillar, driving collaboration, member engagement, and the continued growth of the Mozzies community towards 2028.
